Seventeen Mega Matte Lipsticks Review + Swatches11:28:00, by Erika A.
Seventeen Cosmetics presents Mega Matte, a fabulous new range of opaque lipsticks in 12 bold shades, for only £4.49 - a very cheap price for the amazing quality of the product.
I am so excited about this, as I really love matte lipsticks in all colors! I would pretty much wear only these for all my life.
The lipsticks are long-lasting and smooth on the lips, for a super easy application and a bright color payoff.
They say they're supposed to last 13 hours but I haven't wear them for so long.
I must say that I ate and drunk with them on and I was happily surprised I didn't have to do any retouch. AND they're non-transfer, ie kiss-proof.
I am so happy with the quality of this product. It is very creamy and lightweight.
The opposite of many other matte lipsticks that really dry out your lips irredeemably!
If you're not sure which color to pick, here is a color wheel to guide you to your perfect ones, according to your skin tone, but beauty isn't a law for anybody and you can always experiment what caughts up your eye:
Be brave, rock your lips from morning to night with these pigmented shades, thanks to the creamy texture that keeps the lips selfie-ready without flaking or drying.
Sound like the perfect lipsticks, don't they?!
These are for every woman who likes her lipstick to be always on point, whether she wants to make a statement with a darker color or to have a natural pop of color on her lips.
You can build up the color as you keep spreading the lipstick, and for a little help to the perfect application, you can use the fault-proof Seventeen Lip Brush.
These are the colors I've got (all photos are in a natural day light):
Rioja Your World, a wine red color. - My favorite! - I like to wear it at night with a more vampy style.
I think it's the best color for this fall/winter season!
No Corals. A beautiful corally-fuscia pink. Very bright!
It's a pity though that it makes some discolorations over the lip folds.
Looking Buff. It is the one that payoff less than the others on me, despite I tried to press it down multiple times. I guess this might be because it matches pretty much my natural lip color!
If you have some dead skin on your lips and they're not smooth as they should be, the lipstick will tend to accentuate it. It is important then, for a perfect result, to exfoliate your lips beforehand.
What do you think about these lipsticks? Are they worth to buy in your opinion?
