Candy Japan Box: Konnichiwa it's Tea Time - Review13:28:00, by Erika A.
I want to introduce you to my review of the Candy Japan Box, a box filled with candies from Japan!
As the idea, it is very pleasant to discover other countries' products and traditions, especially food related and Japan always got my attention.
The box is shipped worldwide from Japan and you can pay through Paypal.
The theme of the box was the tea time: it came with 2 bags of green tea and a lot of candies with red and white bean paste.
I tried them and the tea was very good, the taste is particular and rich in flavour. Although I didn't really liked the candies as that bean paste has a taste which I dislike.
And for this reason it wasn't good that all the box was about that taste because if you don't like one... you're not going to like all of them. The varieties of the candies were just 3: one bigger wafer with red bean paste cake, half smaller called "monaka" with the same ingredients and half of the round candies "momoyama" baked with white bean paste.
I think that for $25 a month for a taste that you've never tried and that you may dislike it's not worth it.
Also for just those candies, even if the box is filled with them, it's too expensive in my opinion.
I would have preferred a bigger variety with different flavours, so everybody could be happy and find something to like.
Also there was no explanatory leaflet as you usually find in every box from different brands and with different type of products.
Overall I wasn't satisfied with this box, I hope they will consider my suggestions and improve the box.
